has anyone experiencing problems with publishing the content on ARIS Publisher in SR6?
I can access previously published content but I cannot publish new/update existing as there is not list of existing publisher exports as well if I test the connection while adding the publisher server I get message that server does not exist!

I am using Aris version 2.4c
I have been creating several documents which have previously saved fine. However, I have today made a change to the document and saved the document only to receive the following attached error when I try to go in and open the document again.
The error seems to refer to the file not being a valid .adf file which it absolutely is..............it appear that the file might be in someway corrupt.
Any ideas on how I can access the document again without having to re-do the process document from scratch?

Currently we use a a collaboration tool in which we have embedded ARIS Connect. However, if a user wants to see a process flow the first thing they see is the OVERVIEW tab in ARIS Connect. We expose the overview information already in our own collaboration tool and therefore we only would like to use ARIS Correct to show the DIAGRAM. The URL seems to be the same. Is it possible to modify ARIS Connect in order for users to directly (or only) see the diagram when they click on the URL?

To manage change and prevent multiple users overwriting maps I want to lock a batch of models. Only, for some models I receive an error message stating "unable to set lock" and the result states "Locking model .... failed. Some items cannot be accessed due to the filter or missing privileges" - does anyone know why I would receive this message?
It's important to note I am not locking or including objects, only the models and I have been able to lock the same model types with the same filter successfully. I am an ARIS Architect user and my user group has privileges to read/write all areas of the database.

We just upgraded to ARIS 9.8 last month and we are enjoying the new functionalities. Now I notice that when I insert horizontal space when modeling, it inserts more space vertically and vice versa and it does the same thing even if I right click just in the space. and when I hover over the the vertical/horizontal item in the insert tab, the description of what horizontal space is referring to vertical spacing, same thing with vertical spacing. What could be the cause of this issue? is the a way of configuring these options.
I would really appreciate some help.

I need to use a UML 2 in Aris Architect, but I can't find the models. Do I need some module? I find it in the help, but not in the listed diagrams. This models are discontinued?

I want to do an UML class diagram, like the one in the standard, when I can see the class name and the attributes. I don't want to use a new object Attribute for each one. Is there a way to get a report from ARIS that list all the locked models and objects? The list of locked models and objects can be viewed in the Locked items section. We would like to have report with all the the locked items.

I like to expose the business processes that were entered to IRIS on my organization's portal, so around 5000 employee could view them (only view without having any other permission) do I need licenses for those 5000 employee to only view the existing processes?

I am currently using ARIS Architect & Designer 9.8 for my Master Thesis and I have encountered a problem with modeling an EPC. For some reason I do not have the possibility to include an object of the type "product/service" in my model. Why is this so? Shouldn't I be able to have a product/service as an output at some point of the EPC? When I click on "add symbol" I can't find the desired object "product/service"...

wir haben von ARIS 7.2 auf ARIS 9.6 umgestellt und die Datenbank migriert. Außerdem haben wir die Vorlagen, Filter und das Profil (siehe Publisher Export Einstellungen) für den Publisher von 7.2 übernommen. Nun habe ich das Problem, dass im ARIS Architekt die Modellierung einwandfrei mit unseren Farben und Formatierungen funktioniert (siehe Aris Architekt vs. Publisher) , jedoch beim publizieren, die Farben so nicht übernommen werden, obwohl ich extra beim Publiziervorgang "keine Vorlage" ausgewählt habe. Man sieht bei dem Publisher, dass für die Personen er komischerweise die Füllfarbe übernimmt, jedoch nicht die Linienfarbe, wobei bei einer "Stelle", wenn die Füllfarbe als weiß angegeben ist er die Stelle gelb im Publisher befüllt (Lösung ist hier keine Füllung anzugeben, dann bleibt die Füllfarbe weiß). Warum der Publisher jedoch nicht genau das Modell so übernimmt, wie es im Architekten ist, verstehe ich nicht (mir geht es vor allem zurzeit um die Rahmenlinien der Objekte).
Gehe ich richtig in der Annahme, dass wenn ich keine Vorlage auswähle eigentlich das Modell aus dem ARIS Architekt 1 zu 1 mit Formatierungen etc. publiziert werden sollte?
Ich hoffe mir kann einer helfen.

we updated Aris 7.2 to ARIS 9.2 and migrated the database from Aris 7.2. Also we import the templates, filters and the profile (see below at "Publisher Export Einstellungen"). Now we have the problem, that in aris publisher the model shows different to the model in aris architect, although i chose no template. In Aris Publisher the line and the fill color are different to the aris architect model. I don´t understand this, because in my opinion if i don´t choose a template aris publisher will publish the model with the same formatting as in architect, but aris publisher changes the color (see Aris Architekt vs. Publisher.png).
I hope someone can help me.

Dear community,
we upgraded our ARIS Architect server to version
ARIS 9.8 SR7 - 98.7.0.1127174
and the ARIS Publisher to version
Version: 98.7.0.1127174
All data from the Architect and the Publisher are there, but unfortunately we cannot export any new database from ARIS Architect to the Publisher, because the Publisher server is not visible for the Architect server. We receive an error that there is no Publisher server available - see screen shot.
Were there any port changes from the previous version, or has anybody an explanation what could cause this error?

How can I generate a valid CSR (Certificate Signing Request) file on the Aris server. We have our own internal CA and want to generate a SSL Certificate for Aris.
I have been struggling with getting the email collaboration to send notification to users when they post a comment.
1. I configured the smtp
2.I enable the umc debug
3. i configured the ecp_m runnable
4. set the notification to be on both users and emails
The notifications that i am getting is the request for password reset only.
please assist.
Windows Server 2008 R2, Aris 9.7 BP, when I attempt to connect to Aris via IE I et the error "Page Cannot Be Displayed" I am very new to Aris and would appreciate any help?
